Valentine Treat

 

During a lunch a Leadership, a fellow demonstrator was showing such a cute little Valentine Treat.  I LOVED IT, and asked if I could take a photo.  While looking for a little project to share with my stamp club, I thought of the treat.

Here it is -- with a little twist.  I needed something to display the treat while I was demonstrating.  I pulled out a little pot and placed the tootsie pop inside.  WOW  -- I was so happy about the results.

My club members had a great time making the Valentine Treat.  Many thanks to the unknown demosntrator who came up with such a great idea!!!

Gobblin Greetings

I "cased" this card from a card sample at my upline's, Sandy, demonstrator meeting.  It was just too cute!!!!.  We made this card at this weeks Stamp Club.

A Halloween Treat

We made this cute little treeat at Stamp Club this week.  Stampin' Up! is now selling these great little treat bags.  They're perfect for M&Ms and other small treats.  I also used a new die called  Peekaboo Frames Bigz L Die to cut the little "frame."  It opens up and says 'Sweet Treats' inside (the Frankenstein is hiding the opening).   

 

This little treat could be made for any occasion!

 

 

Advent Calendar Class

In Stampin' Up!s Holiday Mini Catalog, there is a great Advent Calendar project.  My good friend and demonstrator, Debby B. and I got together to make the Calendar, and ended up modifying a few of the 'days' in the project a little bit.  Here is our version.  You can join me this coming weekend to make this project!

UDI Color Challenge

 

 

I saw this beautiful color challenge at the Utah Diva's International Site and was excited to play along.

The colors for this project are:

    Marina Mist
    Pear Pizzazz
    Chocolate Chip
    Very Vanilla

I just completed a trade card for Stampin' Up!s Leadership Conference next week and decided to modify my card and give it a try using the colors for the challenge.

 

The stamps used for the card are:

 Filled With Love (120839)
 Be My Valentine (121154)

I added colors from the challenge to the white Organza Ribbon (114319) just for fun.

Add a Little Dimension to Your Projects

In February, I had the honor of giving a presentation at Stampin' Up!s Regional Training session Ft. Collins, CO.

I decided to show a little something that I do to Build a Bear, and to many other projects.  I add a little dimension to my projects using a sponging technique.

You see the bear on the right is a little flat looking.  By adding a little Really Rust around the edges and here and there adds detail.

Here's the bear's on a card.  Again, the one on the left is plain and the one on the right is sponged.

Can you see the difference?

Love You Much!

Here's a cute little card made with the Love You Much Stamp Set.  I think it's a fun card for all year around.  We made this at Stamp Club in Februay.  Our group concentrates on new techniques to use with our stamps.  This technique is called Faux Tile.

We meet on the first Sunday and Tuesday of every month.  I hope you will join in on the fun sometime.

Time for Tags

I'm still stamping.  With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I really enjoy stamping for fun.  I'd be doing myself a favor if I just kept on going for next year!

These cute little deers are from the Holiday Lineup set.

Christmas is almost here.  How are your projects coming along? 

Another Flake Project

I made about 70 name plates for a Christmas Luncheon.  They were a lot of fun to make.  Again, I used the snowflake from the Snow Swirled set. 

The base was cut by using the Top Note Bigz Die.  It's folded in half to make the tent card name plate.  I printed everyone's name using the computer.

A Snowflake of a Different Color

 I've been playing around with these little "snowflake medalions."  I'm still working on my Christmas cards!

Here's one of the cards I came up with. 

I used the snowflake from Snow Swirled.  The small snowflake in the background and the "Happy Holidays" is from Punch Pals.

Just in Time for Christmas: Project 4

Here I go again, using punches!  They are just so versatile! 

I made the wreath by first stamping and embossing using the "Floral" background stamp, gold on gold.

Next, I used the 1" circle punch, then positioned the scallop punch around the hole. 

The Floral background stamp in retiring.  Be sure to order one soon if you want one.  And, don't forget to take a look at the list of stamps that are to be retired soon!

  Let It Snow!

For this card, I used my Big Shot and punches.  You really have to see the Big Shot in action, if you haven't already!  It can do amazing things that will enhance your creativity.

Take a look at the word "Peace."  It was cut out using the "Join in the Cheer" Decorative Strip Die from Stampin' Up!

Just in Time for Christmas: Project 2

 I  LOVE snowmen! 

This cute little snowman is made by using circle punches:  small, medium, and large.  The opening is backed with shipping tape and then glittered.

This card is made using the Snow Swirled stamp set from Stampin' Up!  I used a faux seersucker technique to give the background some texture.  For this technique, all you have to do is stamp the background, then run the paper through the crimper in both directions.
